Please read these Terms carefully. They form the agreement governing access to VaultNine Gaming services that link to them, including The Undead Ages ("TUA"). By using a covered Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who operates the Services and how to contact us
The Services are operated by VAULTNINE GAMING, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada. Our principal place of business is 115 Ballycanoe Rd, Mallorytown, Ontario, K0E 1R0, Canada.
General support and legal enquiries may be sent to vaultninegaming@gmail.com. The public website is vaultninegaming.ca.
3. Eligibility, minors and parental responsibility
You must be legally permitted to use the Service where you live. If you are below the age at which you may enter into these Terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them where required by law. A parent or guardian who accepts these Terms for a minor is responsible for supervising that minor's use of the Service, including permitted purchases.
Age ratings shown by an app store or platform do not by themselves replace any minimum age, parental-consent or privacy requirements that apply in your jurisdiction.
4. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our Services, technology, business operations or legal requirements. The updated date will be shown on this page. When a change is material and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it through an appropriate channel such as an in-game notice, website notice or other account communication. If you do not agree to an updated version, you must stop using the affected Service.
5. Accounts, security, recovery and deletion
- Provide accurate information when account registration, verification or recovery requires it.
- Keep login credentials and recovery methods confidential. Do not knowingly allow unauthorized access to your Account.
- Do not buy, sell, rent, trade, gift or transfer an Account outside a feature expressly authorized by VaultNine Gaming.
- You are responsible for activity conducted through your Account except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
- Notify us promptly if you believe an Account has been compromised, stolen or fraudulently used.
If Account ownership is disputed, we may request reasonable verification information, such as account history, platform identifiers or transaction information, and may temporarily restrict access while investigating. We may be unable to restore access if ownership cannot reasonably be established.
You may request Account and associated personal-data deletion by contacting support. We may need to verify Account ownership. Some information may be retained where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, legal obligations, dispute resolution or other lawful purposes, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. Limited licence
Subject to these Terms, VaultNine Gaming grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Services and Content for their intended personal entertainment purpose. The Services, Virtual Items and other Digital Content are licensed, not sold, except where mandatory law states otherwise.
You do not acquire ownership of VaultNine Gaming software, game systems, Virtual Items, Virtual Currency or other Content merely because you earned, unlocked or paid for access to it.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to comply with applicable law, these Terms, applicable platform rules and any game-specific rules or supplemental terms presented for a feature, event, contest, subscription or promotion. You are responsible for ensuring that your device, network connection and platform account meet applicable technical and security requirements.
8. Rules of conduct
You must not, directly or by helping another person:
- cheat; use unauthorized bots, macros, automation, scripts or modified clients; exploit bugs; manipulate matchmaking, combat, leaderboards, rewards, economies or progression; or evade an intended gameplay restriction;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, copy, modify, distribute or create unauthorized derivative products from the Services except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits;
- probe, scan, bypass or attack authentication, security, anti-cheat or network protections;
- access or attempt to access another user's Account, private information or restricted systems without authorization;
- impersonate another person, VaultNine Gaming staff, moderators, partners or service providers;
- distribute malware or interfere with servers, networks, clients or other users' ability to use the Services;
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk, defame or target users or staff with abusive or discriminatory conduct;
- spam, advertise, solicit, phish or distribute deceptive links through game/community features;
- submit knowingly false abuse reports or intentionally misuse support/moderation tools;
- engage in Account trading, real-money trading, unauthorized resale of Virtual Items/Currency, paid power-leveling, farming-for-sale or other unauthorized commercial exploitation;
- manipulate regional pricing, receipts, refunds, chargebacks, transaction validation or reward-claim systems for improper gain;
- use the Services to facilitate unlawful activity or to infringe another person's rights.
9. Interactions with other users and community areas
TUA and other Services may include chat, Alliances, direct messages, profiles, leaderboards, forums or other social areas. Other users may not be who they claim to be, and user statements are not endorsed by VaultNine Gaming. Use public and social features cautiously and do not disclose information you do not want other users to see.
User disputes are generally the responsibility of the users involved. We may investigate conduct that affects Service safety, Account ownership or these Terms and may take reasonable protective action.
10. User-generated content and moderation
You retain ownership of rights you already hold in your UGC. By submitting UGC to a Service, you grant VaultNine Gaming a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, format, display, moderate and otherwise use that UGC as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support and improve the Service and to display it to the audience you selected or reasonably expected.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the UGC. We may remove, restrict, preserve or disclose UGC when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to lawful requests, protect users or Service integrity, or comply with law. Where moderation systems are enabled, review may include human review, automated filters or both.
11. Prohibited or illegal content, reporting and safety tools
Do not submit or distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, defamatory, privacy-invasive, sexually exploitative, hateful, extremist, malicious, infringing, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law or these Terms. This includes child sexual abuse/exploitation material, non-consensual intimate material, credible threats, instructions or material intended to facilitate serious unlawful harm, malware/phishing, and unauthorized copyrighted material.
Where reporting, mute or block tools are available, use them responsibly. You may also report serious abuse, safety concerns or suspected violations to vaultninegaming@gmail.com. We may preserve relevant logs and disclose information to competent authorities when legally required or where otherwise permitted by law to address an urgent safety risk.
12. Health and safety
A small number of people may experience seizures or other reactions to flashing lights, rapidly changing images or visual patterns. Use the game in a well-lit environment, take reasonable breaks, and stop playing if you experience unusual symptoms such as dizziness, altered vision, twitching, disorientation or loss of awareness. Seek appropriate medical advice when necessary.
Players should also use reasonable screen-time and ergonomic habits and follow device/platform health and safety guidance.
13. Virtual items, virtual currency and progression
Virtual Currency, Virtual Items, skins, heroes, boosts, rewards, entitlements, achievements and progression are digital licences/features within the applicable Service. They have no cash value outside the Service, do not earn interest, and may not be sold, traded, transferred or redeemed for money except through a feature expressly authorized by VaultNine Gaming and permitted by law.
We may rebalance, rotate, cap, modify, replace, add or remove game systems, rewards, availability, statistics, progression requirements, Virtual Items and Virtual Currency as part of operating and evolving the game. Acquisition of an item does not guarantee permanent exclusivity, future price, future rarity, uninterrupted availability or unchanged gameplay attributes. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
14. Prices, payments and taxes
If paid Digital Content is offered, displayed prices may vary by platform, country, currency, tax treatment, promotion or storefront. You agree to pay charges and applicable taxes authorized through your platform or payment account. Third-party storefronts may calculate, collect or remit taxes and may control the payment process.
VaultNine Gaming may receive transaction identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status and receipt/validation information needed to verify and deliver purchases, prevent duplicate grants and detect suspected fraud. App-store purchases do not require VaultNine Gaming to receive your full payment-card number.
15. Purchase contract and delivery
A purchase request is subject to acceptance by the applicable storefront/payment provider and, where relevant, successful validation by VaultNine Gaming. Digital Content is delivered to the applicable Account after the transaction is accepted and validated. We may refuse, cancel or reverse an entitlement where a transaction is invalid, reversed, unauthorized, fraudulent, duplicated or not successfully completed, subject to applicable law and platform rules.
16. Cancellations, refunds and chargebacks
Except where applicable law or the authorized storefront requires otherwise, purchases of immediately delivered Digital Content are generally final once delivered or consumed. Purchases made through Apple, Google, Steam or another authorized distributor are also subject to that distributor's cancellation and refund rules.
If you believe a purchase was not delivered correctly, contact support and, where appropriate, the storefront. Do not knowingly use fraudulent chargebacks, receipt manipulation or repeated refund methods to retain Digital Content without valid payment. Nothing in this section removes non-waivable statutory refund or consumer rights.
17. Service availability and functionality
We use reasonable efforts to operate the Services, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Services may be suspended or limited for maintenance, security, updates, platform outages, capacity issues, technical faults, legal requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Features, regional availability and device/platform compatibility may change over time.
18. Updates, patches, repair and compatibility
The Services may require patches, content updates, compatibility changes or new client versions. Depending on the platform, updates may download automatically, be supplied by an authorized storefront, or require user action. An outdated or unsupported version may lose access to online features.
TUA may offer repair/update routing appropriate to the platform. Repair or update functions do not guarantee recovery of locally corrupted data that was never successfully saved or synchronized. Players should keep devices, operating systems and storefront clients reasonably current.
19. Beta, PTR and pre-release services
Alpha, beta, PTR, preview and other pre-release Services may be incomplete, unstable, unavailable, reset or materially changed. Test progress, test accounts, rankings, Virtual Items or other data may be modified or wiped unless VaultNine Gaming expressly states otherwise. Pre-release behavior is not a promise that the same feature, balance or content will appear in the final release.
20. Duration and stopping use
These Terms apply while you access or use a covered Service. You may stop using a Service at any time. Deleting the client does not necessarily delete an online Account or records that must be retained for legitimate/legal purposes; submit a deletion request where Account deletion is desired.
21. Intellectual property
VaultNine Gaming, The Undead Ages, associated worlds, logos, artwork, software, systems, interfaces, text, audio, characters, names and other Content are owned by VaultNine Gaming or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of VaultNine Gaming intellectual property to you.
Except for your own UGC and rights expressly granted by these Terms or law, you may not reproduce, publish, scrape, sell, redistribute or commercially exploit VaultNine Gaming Content without permission.
22. Suspension, restrictions and termination
Acting reasonably, we may warn, mute, restrict, suspend or terminate access to all or part of a Service if we believe you violated these Terms or law, engaged in fraud/abuse, created a security or safety risk, or if action is reasonably necessary to protect users or Service integrity. Serious or repeated violations may justify immediate action.
We may also discontinue all or part of a Service for operational, legal or business reasons. Where practical and legally required, we will provide appropriate notice. Suspension or termination may result in loss of access to progression and licensed Digital Content. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
23. Third-party platforms, links and services
The Services may depend on or link to app stores, operating-system providers, community platforms, hosting providers, social services, payment processors or other third parties. Those third parties control their own services, availability, security, terms and privacy practices. Your use of them may be governed by separate agreements.
24. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" and, where legally permitted, "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that a Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, immune from attacks or data loss, or compatible with every device, operating system, connection or third-party service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VaultNine Gaming is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use a Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, statutory warranties, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
25. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, liabilities or claims reasonably arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material breach of these Terms, or UGC you submit that infringes another person's rights. This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.
26. Support, complaints and abuse reports
For game support, purchase-delivery issues, complaints or abuse reports, contact vaultninegaming@gmail.com. Include enough information for us to identify the issue without unnecessarily sending sensitive personal information. We may request additional Account verification when needed to investigate or restore access.
27. Disputes and governing law
Before beginning formal proceedings, you and VaultNine Gaming should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through support. A written dispute notice should describe the issue and requested resolution. Unless urgent relief is reasonably required, both sides should allow a reasonable period for informal resolution.
These Terms are governed by laws applicable to VaultNine Gaming in Canada, subject to mandatory consumer-protection, privacy and other non-waivable rights that apply where you live. Any court or tribunal must have lawful jurisdiction over the dispute.
Important: this draft intentionally does not impose mandatory arbitration, a jury-trial waiver or a class-action waiver. Those provisions can have major jurisdiction-specific consequences and should only be added after advice from qualified counsel.
28. Notices
We may provide Service notices through the game client, website, storefront, Account message, support message, email or another reasonable channel associated with the Service. You are responsible for keeping contact information current where the Service relies on it. Legal notices to VaultNine Gaming may be sent to the contact email above unless a different notice address is later published.
29. General terms
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and any applicable supplemental terms form the agreement for the relevant subject matter.
- Supplemental terms: game features, promotions, contests, subscriptions, PTR programs or events may include additional rules; those rules apply to that feature and prevail to the extent of a direct conflict.
- Severability: if part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent permitted by law.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a provision once does not permanently waive it.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without permission. VaultNine Gaming may transfer the agreement as part of a lawful reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, sale or transfer of the relevant business/service, subject to applicable law.
- Language: the English version is the controlling version unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- Headings: headings are for convenience and do not change the meaning of the provisions.
30. Force majeure
Neither side is responsible for a failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control to the extent the law permits, including major network or hosting outages, natural disasters, war or civil disruption, widespread power failures, labour disruptions, epidemics/pandemics, government action or failure of critical third-party infrastructure. Affected obligations may be suspended for the duration reasonably necessary to address the event.
